Human you need to rest after all that Holy Week and Easter shenanigans!
Excellent intergenerational Easter service 😊
Early on the first day of the week, the women went to the tomb… they found the stone rolled away - but him they did not (as yet) see…
Holy Saturday… the day of waiting (and attempting unknowing )
Holy Saturday… the day of wondering (mostly mundane matters!)
Holy Saturday… home communion this morning, hosting reflective space in church garden this afternoon (final prep to make tomorrow special surprising and a bit sacred!)
Good Friday = Manchester Passion (YouTube)…. How is it twenty years ago?
Good Friday…
‘My song is love unknown…’

Setting up ready for Zoom Communion on Palm Sunday for college online teaching weekend.
Today’s home bound train just had a ‘full trip and reset to fix a fault’…. Or, in the words of the Train Manager, ‘we switched it off and on again and everything is now fine’ 😁😁🚝
Strangely peaceful sitting in the dark on a ‘switched off’ train😁
Proud of the volunteers at church whose hard work earned us a five star rating for food hygiene 😁👏🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
College Open Day at @lutherkingtheology.bsky.social was full of joy and smiles, yummy food, meaningful worship and deep conversations.
The sunshine through the stained glass made the chapel sparkle!

It’s International Women’s Day (19th Nov for men). I have an away preach, and the gospel reading centres on a conversation between Jesus and a woman.
I am not preaching about International Women’s Day, am taking a moment before I go out to be grateful for the she-preachers throughout history.
End of an era… just renewing my passport online (crazily simple) and sending burgundy one to be cancelled.
Keeping my wallet cover thingy for the next one though!
Yesterday’s civic service… official photos
Wow, scary to realise I have been dipping into this for two decades!
Ash Wednesday… the start of Lent…
Remember, oh mortal that you are dust…
The same stuff as the stars…
So, sparkle with light
In the darkness of human sin and finitude
Bringing joy, hope and love.

Ready for Transfiguration Sunday and intro to Lent!
Nene=Nen end of!!😊😆
Community time and worship… loosely linked to the Transfiguration story with options for singing, walking, colouring and crafting.
Always good to see my Pastoral Supervisor… good and helpful reflection, and the physical journey is great for processing too.😊
