The position of "just keep your head down and be positive" is one of extreme privilege. I know this is hard to talk about, but we have too, even if it's stressful. It's okay to not be okay, but we have to engage in discourse that makes everything safer for those being erased right now.

Two for two on "we said it in the announcements"- my friends, some people can't hear, and some people don't understand English. First flight day in a loooonnngggg time with this level of inaccessibility.
