You're right, that's exactly what it is. I've an ancestor in the same census who was a general house servant as well but because she only spoke English she has "Private" written in the same field

I'm a technophile, I love technology it's almost an obsession. And I 100% agree with you. TVs shouldn't have internet or firmware updates or adverts in the settings menu. Give me a cheap dumb panel with as many HDMI ports as you can. Streaming boxes/sticks are better than any TV can handle anyway.
