Embrace the TK. Love the TK.

“As you know, Bob, TK SOMETHING ABOUT [thing from graf/page/chapter/level 2] TK, and so, of course, we’re going to have to kill you.”

I don’t usually outline and I used to feel like I should, but once I pledged my soul to TK, I realized I didn’t need to.

That was a very odd, very brown game. Resident Evil by way of French dystopian existentialism. Plus Ron Perlman.

The Signals catalog would love for everyone to think that. They don’t really work unless one wants a drink just a couple degrees below room temperature.

(Also many who like chilled whisk(e)y prefer a bit of dilution, the lack of which is their main selling point.)

Don’t apologize, that was super informative and I appreciate you taking the time to explain!

Oh shit, I missed the “wrong answers only” part. That’s actually Proverbs 23:6.

I just asked another programmer this so I’ll ask you too—and to be very clear I’m genuinely looking for information, not anti-AI trolling, though I do hate almost everything we’re calling AI right now so take that for what it’s worth: Is Claude actually a net gain in terms of time and/or effort?

Also, does wearing clothing count as feeding it? Just curious, no reason in particular

Oh you’re gonna need to figure out when midnight is where this was manufactured, sorry

All else aside, I applaud Bsky for committing to update timeframes. It’s frankly weird how rare that is. Such a small effort to improve user trust.

That update may be “¯\_(ツ)_/¯ still working on it! Will update more in x hours” and that’s STILL better that pretending nothing’s happening

So, is that the case with coding? I gotta assume there are some “wtf did u DO, Claude?” moments… And if so, does it save enough effort, even for a skilled engineer who can check/verify quickly, to justify the enormous energy expenditure, unethical sourcing, etc? (Not to mention potentially bad PR…)

Here is my question, and I’ll preface this by saying this is a genuine question, not some kind of “gotcha” attempt, because as noted previously I know coding but am in no way a coder:

My experience with A.I. (Boost wants to make that a link btw) is that everything has to be meticulously checked—

Confirmed that when I click on that link it opens the Bsky app and shows the link between that post and what it’s replying to

Like, look at this linked post — it’s obviously a reply to something but is not indicated as such bsky.app/profile/suedeer.bsky.soc... (I’m guessing following that link might thread more properly so find that post in the main thread to see what I mean)

I can find more examples but the most recent one I see in my history was this thread. I’m seeing replies shown as individual posts regardless of who they’re replying to.

Yeah, I watched Johnny pound a six-pack in the 20-minute shuttle ride to the event where I was required to ride in the jeep he was driving off-road through desert canyons he had no experience with.

So, that was fun.

But hey, I’m still here and so is he, so.

I’m not sure it’s fair to use statistics any older than like six months when it comes to things like cancer right now. Goalposts seem to be shiftin’ pretty dramatically lately

Was the Rockstar junket with Johnny Knoxville and Chris Pontius offroading in Red Rocks before your time or did you share my experience of white-hot fury?

Oh, new bug just dropped (well, not “just” but in the last couple revs for sure): Looking at a single skeet now seems to show every response affiliated with that post rather than only direct responses TO that post, and with no indication of who’s responding to what. Can’t imagine that’s intentional?
