Be careful in your generalizations. I'm 63. Had 100k debt from med school. (About$275000 in today’s dollars) Cigarettes were bad. We had cath labs & bypass. We docs in our 60s were in med school & residency in the 80s/90s not the 50s. Some of our lengthy experience is actually pretty valuable
This is not normal in a country with advanced levels of health care. This is death by legislative fiat. It’s never been about the “babies” - it’s always been about controlling women, and letting them die is just collateral damage.
So preventing cancer- (colonoscopy) or finding it way --mammograms- is too "woke"? This is absolutely unhinged. Damn the food dyes but power on colon cancer. ????

The summary is that they are trying to criminalize every aspect of homelessness so they can arrest & forcibly commit unhoused people. Currently(/before), there are not enough mental health & substance use treatment beds/facilities, and this does not add anything, which only leaves imprisoning people
