about half of the final spells for bosses have some freaky gimmick that wouldnt work when used by the player (final earthrise, escape velocity, where trust begins and ends) which is tough. either way, all the items are locked in for release! there are over 300 of them so youll find lotsa stuff

and simplified versions would have required remaking every enemy spell in the game to have one. pretty tall task for one item

dynamically copying boss spellcards to be used by the player presents a number of nested logic issues (bullet ownership needs to be recursively transferred from bullets to other bullets that they spawn and so on) while still maintaining the normal enemy bullet alignment
