It's now been 3 hours since our supposed "ally" Donald Trump threatened genocide on a country of 93 million people.
We've had absolutely nothing from the UK government.
This doesn't come in a vacuum either - every day the US & Israel have been murdering innocent people.

@mothinali.bsky.social cuts through Farage’s ‘man of the people’ act.
Quote graphic from Zack Polanski, Green Party Leader. "The King should be going nowhere near Donald Trump at this time. The truth is, Keir Starmer has waved this visit through because he's scared to stand up to this rogue president. Starmer is telling everyone he's Hugh Grant, while the reality is he is imitating Tony Blair by involving Britain in another illegal war in the Middle East. The reported 27 US B52 bombers taking off from British soil to bomb Iran is testament to that. " Promoted by Chris Williams on behalf of The Green Party, both at PO Box 78066, London SE15 9GQ.
“Starmer must end this involvement in Iran and stop the King's visit to the USA.”
@zackpolanski.bsky.social calls on Starmer to show leadership - stop UK involvement in illegal wars, refuse concessions to Trump, and oppose normalising fascism through inappropriate state visits.
Tom Scott, co-coordinator of #Cornwall #GreenParty, said: "This landslide win shows just how much the political landscape has changed in the last few months, nationally and here in Cornwall

Brilliant message from Hannah Spencer about our by-election in Newquay 💚
Abi Hubbucks has already put so much time and energy into Newquay. Now it's our turn to get out and support her, and get Abi into County Hall!
Picture of Abigail Hubbucks text reads: Vote Abi Hubbucks Newquay Porth & Tretherras Green Party candidate Vote 23 April
Abigail Hubbucks has already been working for her community as a Newquay town councillor.
Now she’s our candidate for Porth & Tretherras in the upcoming Cornwall Council by-election, and would be a welcome addition to advocate for Newquay alongside Drew Creek in County Hall.
Vote Abi April 23rd.

Gorton and Denton showed that people are desperate for a different kind of politics.
But Labour have doubled down: with smears, misrepresentation, and BNP-inspired migration policy.
How low will Labour go? 📉
Dear Shabana, I notice today that you referred to me in your speech on immigration at the IPPR think tank. You said: “A party leader should not be on the beaches of France encouraging people to make a perilous crossing on small boats.” I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised especially after the hateful Labour campaign in Gorton and Denton, but this is just the latest in a string of lies peddled by a discredited Government who intentionally fan the flames of racism and division. When I went to Calais, I was not there to encourage people to travel to the UK. I was there to see at first hand the suffering your Government and successive Governments have done in demonising migrants in a pathetic bid to pander to the base instincts of Reform and the flawed strategy of Morgan McSweeney. As you will know, if you even bothered to research my visit instead of taking Reform talking points, I was there to witness the brutality of families living in tents in freezing temperatures. I filled water tanks and picked up litter. What that visit did do is confirm my belief that if we are to smash the boat gangs and stop the boats, we need to offer safer and managed routes for migrants to come to this country. Showing compassion as a politician is not a crime. In fact, we need to see much more of it. It reminded me of a young MP who in October 2015 spent three days in Lesbos helping migrants fleeing war-torn Syria. She posted videos on X, talked about handing out water and croissants to refugees and food parcels. When she returned to the UK, she wrote a very moving piece in the New Statesman. She said “we have to work with our European partners and create new, safe, and legal routes for refugees to get to Europe. We cannot abandon them to their fate, left as prey for smugglers whilst risking death on the seas.” She said “maybe we can make ourselves feel better by saying no-one is making them get on the boats. And again, the Home Secretary is not entirely wrong when …
Dear Shabana,
Let's clear some things up around migration and remember we're talking about people's lives.
Today marks the national day of Cornwall, named after St Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall, of tin miners, and our most famous refugee.
Whether you’ve fled here atop a mill stone or born and bred, we hope you’ve all enjoyed the week’s celebrations.

With the thuggish and illegal conduct of the United States and Trump's followers here, it's no wonder why Iran is reluctant to rejoin negotiations the US just suspended by means of bomb.
Britain cannot be dragged into another Iraq War.
Meur ras! From Cornwall, to Caerphilly, to Gorton and Denton, people are fed up. Fed up of a politics of hate and a failing status quo.
Establishment parties don't know what's coming, but those of us organising for a better world sure do.
Here's to a new political era of hope 💚
A photo of Keir Starmer pointing to the word Resign. Peter Mandelson stands behind him.
Keir Starmer has shown a catastrophic failure of judgement.
He says he trusted the assurances of Peter Mandelson about his relationship with paedophile and human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
A level of gullibility and incompetence that makes him unfit to hold power.
Nigel Farage pretends it represents the people, but it's clear Reform only represents the whims of the establishment with an agenda that only serves billionaires and hate.
Which Tory do you think will join CONFORM next?
(1/2) With so many Tories now jumping ship to Reform UK - even former cabinet members - you never quite know who could be next...
Multiple defections in January alone from the Conservative Party to Reform UK just show what many already thought: Same old Tories, new coat of paint.
Labour's running scared, fearing the next few months are existential for them.

👏 A brilliant local working class candidate, chosen by ordinary members in Manchester.
For Gorton & Denton, it's Greens Vs Reform, Hope Vs hate.
Here's to hope 💚
“A poster-style political graphic with the large word ‘CONFORM’ at the top. Beneath it, bold text reads ‘Farage is getting the failed band back together’. Nigel Farage is shown prominently in the centre, with several other former Conservative and Reform-linked politicians arranged around him in a collage style. The background is beige and textured, giving a worn, poster-like feel. The Green Party logo appears at the bottom, along with small-print promotional text.”
Same Tory MPs, same austerity-led ideology, same failure.
Natalie Bennett Green Party Peer "The unprovoked attack by the Syrian government on the autonomous area of North Eastern Syria is a potential disaster for democracy, women’s rights and peaceful coexistence. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) successfully fought ISIS for 12 years and their abandonment by Trump is a straightforward betrayal that we should not copy." "The UK government has got to make clear to the Syrian government that the current negotiated ceasefire must be restored and that attacks on Kurdish-majority towns are unacceptable."

“We are putting Palantir on notice. This is a military surveillance company tied to authoritarian surveillance and the devastation in Gaza — and it has no role in our NHS.”
Green Party leader Zack Polanski on why Palantir must be kept out of the National Health Service.
Not content just aiding Israel's genocide, or the ICE gestapo in the US, they're also after your sensitive medical data. All this being done without your consent. With their NHS contract coming soon up, it's time to put this rotten corporation on notice, and kick them out our health service.
NO to big data surveillance
NO to supporters of genocide and racist paramilitaries
YES to patient consent and confidentiality
Palantir is an American military surveillance corporation that makes its money by spying on ordinary people and scrapping their data for the highest bidder.
Blue water texture overlays white text reading 'Take Back Control of Water' Green Party tagline- Real Hope, Real Change appears at the top of the image.
The government's Water White Paper doesn't tackle the root cause of the water crisis- privatisation.
As bills soar, shareholders pocket outrageous payouts for crumbling infrastructure, outages and sewage pollution.
Greens want water back where it belongs- in public hands.
