Well that's that then. My brief five-second foray into Facebook is over. It was good while it lasted! (n/n)
Then it said I'd get a resolution in an hour or so. I did indeed: "Your Facebook account has been permanently disabled. You requested a review of this decision, but we still found that your account, or activity on it, didn't follow our Community Standards. You can't request another review." (3/n)
It said the instant suspension of my account prior to even signing in was "because your account, or activity on it, doesn't follow our Community Standards on account integrity". It gave me 180 days to appeal. I clicked Appeal and got asked to do a bunch of selfies from different angles (2/n)
I needed to get access to a chat group that only exists on Facebook so (reluctantly) signed up for an account. Less than five seconds after I entered the numeric confirmation code, I got another e-mail from Facebook saying "Your Facebook account has been suspended" (1/n)

The question everybody should be asking is what kind of government do you have when a grandmother has to work delivery for DoorDash to pay for her husband’s cancer treatment.

Would have gone as far as a repost but for “holy”, not sure that that means anything (for us at least)

Top caption reads: Taken nearly 58 years apart, these images capture Earth on the moon's horizon across two eras of lunar exploration. Below are side by side images: on the left, the new Earthset image produced by the Artemis II mission and on the right, the iconic Earthrise image captured during the Apollo 8 mission in 1968.
Nearly 58 years later and Earth is still just as beautiful.
sure didn't expect to see this on JP news.
