Last week, I attended the Litter Hawk Youth Program Awards Ceremony in Harrisburg to celebrate Faith Hanusa, a student from my district, winning second place in the 4th grade illustration competition.
I'm pleased to announce that the PA Department of Environmental Protection has awarded a local company, Engle Printing & Publishing Co., a $493,114 grant to install a ballast-mounted solar system to offset almost 100% of their facility's annual electricity use. ☀️ ⚡️ 🌱

I'm excited to announce that the Shapiro Administration has awarded a local company, Cyprium Solutions, Inc., a $1.37 million low-interest loan to help them renovate a facility in West Hempfield and continue to grow their operation in our community.
I stopped by the Rotary Club of Lititz meeting yesterday to present them with a citation celebrating their 100-year anniversary & talk with them about my work and state issues. I love meeting with serviced-based organizations in our community, and I’m thankful for the work these folks do in Lititz.

Some Hempfield School Board members stopped by my office in Harrisburg this morning! It’s always a pleasure to see local school board members advocating in Harrisburg. We share the same goal: making sure our schools are properly funded and our kids get the best possible education.
GiGi’s Playhouse in Lancaster is a special place. They provide free educational, therapeutic, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome.
I had a wonderful time getting a tour from their ambassadors and learning about their programming.
