Last week, I joined my colleagues in Whitehall for a policy hearing to discuss the sustainability of nursing homes, the needs of our aging community, costs, & more.

Thank you to the advocates who helped us better understand how we can protect these facilities while bringing costs down for seniors.

We must protect kids from sexually explicit AI deepfakes [column] The disturbing situation at Lancaster Country Day School, where two male students generated more than 300 nude images of their female classmates and other teenage girls using artificial intelligence,…

At a time when AI tools are widely available with little government oversight, it’s imperative that adults who work with children are both empowered and required to report any instance in which AI is used to generate child sexual abuse material.

Does tossing trout from a bucket while stocking the fish in a creek or lake hurt the fish? Editor's note: This story was first published in May 2023.

For anyone concerned about how we're tossing the fish in the water, it's actually the preferred method to keep the trout healthy. LNP has a good piece explaining this: lancasteronline.com/sports/outdo...?

I love supporting local small businesses like The Sandwich Factory 🏈🍕🍻

I recently stopped by and got to connect with the owner, Eric, and his awesome team. They've got a lot going on in here, including good food, a sports bar, pool tables, & a private event space.

Lancaster's small businesses are the backbone of our economy & help make our community a vibrant place to live.

The Senate was in session yesterday for Saint Patrick’s Day, so I had to dress accordingly 🍀

My namesake and great-great grandfather, James Malone, was born in Ireland and later made his life here in the US.

America is a country built by immigrants, and I’m proud to carry forward that legacy.

2 teenage boys from Lancaster County admit to manufacturing child sexual abuse material The attorney general said the 16-year-old boys admitted to manipulating photos they found online and "morphing" the images to make the people in them appear nude.

I introduced legislation requiring teachers & other mandated reporters to immediately report incidents involving sexually explicit AI deepfakes of children. I’m pleased it was included in SB 1050, which is now awaiting passage in the House.
