Gallifrey returns! ✨✨ take a look for more info on my episode “Propaganda”!

It’s one of my absolute favourites! Nothing beats it for storytelling and atmosphere, especially in the starting zones, if you can excuse the occasionally bug or glitch
It is time for my bi-yearly replay of The Secret World MMORPG, top-tier spooky vibes and magic powers in modern day 2013.
Every year I am increasing delighted and relieved that it’s not yet been shut down, despite living in maintenance mode for the last…seven? Years?
We're one of the suggested titles for the British Fantasy Awards for the audio work (fiction) category! It would be an honour if you considered voting for us.
So excited to be part of this series!

An anthology of epistolary haunted house stories.
Premiers Friday, May 1, 2026
I use Scrivener for all my first drafts, and often for final edits. I export into a different word processor just to refresh my vision and help me spot any glaring mistakes. But it’s Scrivener most of the way.
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by! We've officially sold out of all copies of The Hotel, and almost sold out of everything else!
It was such a lovely, welcoming event, and we hope you all had as good a time as we did.

We’re up and running at Fiction Fest! Come find us on the second floor, giving away free bookmarks and Holmwood handbooks 📚📚
Thanks! ❤️
I like to think of my WoW Warband as a single incomprehensible hivemind. Standing in the back of cutscenes, NPCs too weirded out to ask them to leave, a varied collection of species and classes, all of them singularly terrible at anything other than mediocre DPS…
Thanks!
After (unintentionally) pumping the brakes on short story writing for a year or so, I'm very excited and pleased to announce that my story "Nanny Rutt" has been accepted into "Folklore Horror" by Flame Tree Press!
I love working with Flame Tree Press, and their books are always gorgeous!
Ayy! I’m in this too! Book buddies 📚
Happy Trans Day of Visibility from all of us at The Holmwood Foundation. As a trans and queer led show, we aim to center trans voices, characters and creatives at all levels of production, from our actors to our writers and our amazing sensitivity readers.
You will always be safe here with us.
(The novella in question features small mousy priests, ominous mansions on lonely hilltops, and Regency women who WILL eat you. So all the best stuff, really.)
(Thank you so much to everyone who has already pre-ordered. I'm still not entirely sure if I'm the right kind of author for this event, so it means the world to me that people are interested in my work, and I can't wait to see you at the event!)
A reminder that the sold-out Fiction Fest 26' is fast approaching, and I'll be there selling my books.
We'll be at table 16 on the second floor, right in the middle. Please do come say hi if you have a ticket!
Preorder books from me below to pick up at the event for discounts and extra goodies!
The amazing @yellghoul.bsky.social has painted an absolutely gorgeous cover for my next novella, which I cannot wait to show you all.
In the mean time, please give her a follow and consider commissioning some of her artwork!
I'm having the kind of Anxiety Time at the moment where I wake up and immediately my body assumes I'm being hunted for sport.
A Tarot card design for The Hermit, featuring a dark-haired man in a business suit (minus jacket) slumped unhappily at a desk in a dark office, lit only by the bright blue glow of his computer screen.
It's time for March in our monthly Holmwood Tarot Card collection: The Hermit! Featuring Jeremy Larkin.
Two digital sketches portraits in red ink. On the left is a young woman with curly hair tied back in a scarf, a sharp nose and a small frowning mouth, looking to the side as she struggles to hold an armful of toads. On her left is a smiling young woman with the same kind of curly hair, smiling as she holds up a toad as if to kiss it.
Preparing to dive back into edits for "Curses! or, An Ugly Stepsister's Guide To Rescuing Princesses" a fairy tale novel I wrote and set aside back in my early 20's, so to hype myself up I redrew my two POV characters - Molly and Agatha Pith.
I love them both very much.
Seeing as I've just very openly mentioned feeling a kinship with the character, that feels a very strange comment to make.
On a completely different note, biggest shout-out to @seancarlsen.bsky.social, who definitely wasn’t one of the reasons I cried, but Fio and I cheered at the screen when we saw him!
I don’t know if I’m just feeling slightly fragile at the moment, but The Other Bennet sister has successfully made me cry at least twice now, and we’re only on episode five.
Mary reminds me so much of how I was at 17/18, right down to her appearance. I don’t often see protagonists like her.
I suppose on the plus side we now have some interesting extracurriculars to add to our cvs?
I do wonder if my counterpart knows she’s now written a number of stories for Doctor Who.
Google AI has apparently decided that myself and the actor Georgia Cook are the same person, and has blended our biographies.
I know this because twice now I’ve had podcast interviewers reach out to ask if I was in Despicable Me 2.
I was not.
Soundsmyth Creative's cover artwork for UNIT – Brave New World: Knightfall, featuring Brigadier Bambera on the left and Ancelyn in his armour on the right. Behind them are clouds, fiery skies and a dragon in flight.
OUT NOW! Love is a battlefield. https://bgfn.sh/knightfall ⚔️🛡️🏰💔 Come for Camelot. Stay for the emotional damage.
