The future of our national parks is grim if we don’t address the climate crisis as soon as possible. Wildfires, ecological disruptions, and floods all threaten our public lands. The time to act is now! #GreenNewDeal

The hungry red panda at the Prospect Park Zoo? Adorable.

The HungryPanda delivery app scamming small businesses? Not adorable. So they will be paying $580,000 back.

We'll keep pursuing companies that take advantage of New Yorkers, and we'll keep asking if we can pet a red panda just for a second.

I hate when fantasy films I made a long time ago begin to come true in real life.

I designed this Yosemite poster to highlight the impact of the climate crisis on national parks and forests. Yosemite and many other public lands are already facing ecosystem damage. We must act now.

The majority of Democrats support socialism!

Thank you to everyone who supported this campaign.

Together we were able to do things never seen in American politics, to set a new standard from what we should expect from the people who try to represent us.

What we built matters, regardless of the outcome. And the work isn’t over.

Democrats can either commit to the progressive shift or stay the party of losers. People like AOC, Mamdani, and Warren are the future of the Democratic Party—politicians who embrace class messaging and a bold progressive vision.

Greenland could be the next Hawai’i. The next Puerto Rico. The next Samoa. The next Guam. The next Northern Mariana. Free them all.

What people observing Trump’s anti-intellectualism often fail to realize is that the story does not end with assaulting and dismantling education; rather, MAGA sees education as both a threat and an instrument. It’s a problem to attack and an opportunity to pursue. Understanding this is critical.

Issues of racial domination can be linked to the growth imperative. From chattel slavery and land theft to the wages of whiteness, whiteness is deeply tied to economic growth. Thus, transcending capitalism, growthism, and white dominance must be pursued together.

The United States of America is the richest country in the history of the world. It is time for us to make good on the statement that health care is a basic human right.

We need health care for everyone. I’m staying in that fight all the way.

Trump wrongly indicted me. I’ll rightly impeach him.

Impeachment isn’t just an option, it’s a necessity. I know firsthand the lengths Trump is willing to go in order to silence dissent — but is it working?

Governments need to break up with the business ontology, and embrace public projects. With a Green New Deal, public power could change the way cities power their communities for the common good.

Instead of paying private solar farms for energy generated, cities should invest in public power that only costs funds to establish/purchase the infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance.

Renewable power is free beyond these costs, thus paying for power generated makes no sense financially.

Georgetown, Texas’ 100% renewable plan failed because the city chose capitalism over public power.

The city entered contracts with private solar farms, ended up paying for more energy than needed, and subsequently raised energy bills and cut spending from other areas of the budget. 🧵

Republicans are coming out against Trump en mass, but let’s make something clear: these people are not disillusioned with Trump’s extremism, they are moving further right. Trump isn’t fascist enough for them.

They’re not waking up; they’re becoming worse.

Self-censorship and preemptive concessions make it easier for authoritarian regimes to consolidate power. The more we commit to dissent and resistance despite our fears of retribution, the less of our power we concede to fascists.

I refuse to call TERFS “gender-critical” because their version of feminism has no grounding in critical theory nor critical thought. It’s all about branding their transphobic hate as something intellectual. It’s not.

With the election of 2024, similarly to that of 1876, we have a New Redeemer movement in charge of our political apparatus. This pattern of redress and retrenchment is observable across U.S. history.

History can and is repeating itself.

What has followed this previous era of progress is akin to the Redeemers of the late 1800s. MAGA has launched a war on critical race theory, affirmative action, “wokeness,” and what they call “radical gender ideology.”

We had our own era of social advancement with the Obama administration, the rise of Black Lives Matter, the widespread adoption of DEI, and the broader societal shift leftward toward anti-racism into the mainstream.

In response to the Reconstruction Era as a racial justice project, white supremacists reacted with the ‘Redemption Era’ involving the rolling back of social progress and the codification of Jim and Juan Crow.

Owning the libs by letting ACA subsidies expire and refusing to employ emergency SNAP funds. This is very on brand for the GOP.
