There's a lot of "you don't understand what AI can do" coming at some of us and a legitimate response is "you don't understand what I can do, and need to, in my job."

I refuse to use AI to generate illustrations so my students are unfortunately stuck with the most cringe and poorly made memes that a geriatric millennial can produce.
