We used to grade visits for cleaning. Sister in law was grade 1, mother was grade 2 and mother in law was grade 3. Sister in law would only allow 1 toy out at a time. We dreaded going there.

Mozart Confutatis koala version
Mozart Confutatis koala version YouTube video by Tobijanski.baryton

Do you want to hear Mozart's requiem sung to a koala kid's toy that sings it back?

I've decided we deserve a little dopamine treat before this pointless war gets even worse tonight.

Waitrose employee sacked after stopping shoplifter from taking Easter eggs Walker Smith, 54, who worked for retailer for 17 years, says he grabbed bag from thief before they escaped

Dear Waitrose
I think what you have done is pretty shoddy. This is a total overreaction imo.
You may have ruined this man’s life!
Please change your decision!

New laws to make it easier to cancel subscriptions Consumers will be able to cancel unwanted subscriptions 'at the click of a button', the government said.

This sort of thing won't win anyone an election but it is genuinely useful.

Book covers of an Australian trilogy.

I found that my husband's ancestors were convicts, gold diggers and then a multi-millionaire entrepreneur but where did all the money go? I wrote 3 books about it.

The best thing you will listen to today.

He is speaking of America but this gentleman's view applies to media in the UK too.

This is real truth.
Do not seek your 'truth' on mainstream media, you will never find it there.

The UK Covid Inquiry has laid bare the avoidable horror of the second Covid wave It is becoming ever clearer both how devastating the second wave of winter 2020/21 was, and how much of that devastation could have been avoided.

I wrote about the findings from the inquiry about the impact of the pandemic on the NHS, and the mistakes of the first year.

I hope it makes you angry - it should make us all angry.

So, about those Eid prayers in London...

"What's the highest thing in Trafalgar Square?"

"Nelson's column, innit?"

"And the highest thing on the column?"

"Nelson."

"And on Nelson?"

"His hat."

"And the highest thing on his hat?"

"That bit that sticks up."
