I Really enjoyed these first two episodes alot. Especially with them both utilizing 50s aesthetics.
So far s2 is definitely better than s1.

So far the pantheon arc is going strong and while I was hesitant at first, I am now eager to see where it leads to.
The 1950s setting was done really well.They managed to tell a really decent story while also not erasing the issues of that era.

The animation of Mr. Ring-a-ding was phenomenal. The episode does fail at its original gimmick the same way devils chord did for me tho tbh.
