It is my opinion that all standing desks should have a safety switch marked "EJECT" or "FIRE MISSILES!"

In practicality, it is to make sure I've checked for clearances before I raise or lower the desk. But there are days where it also provides some critical and cathartic fidgeting!

What is the Mercury Consortium's plan to tackle the Interoperability standards, like UL3141, that require certification on whole system chains, and not individual components. How will we make DERs as plug and play as Bluetooth?

👍Glad to hear that Synology got the NUT netclient implementation right. My QNAP and Asustor NAS appliances have proprietary NUT implementations, where UPS name, username, and/or password are hardcoded. So, I had to write custom shutdown scripts via SSH to shut them down.
