i don't think i like games whose mechanics "fade into the background", I like games where the fact they're a game is always present, where you can see the designer's fingerprints on everything, you know?

In #GURPS tonight, one of my PCs let another PC force choke her near to death so she could astral project and follow a teenage girl's spirit back to its body.
I based my game Crashing Beasts & Crumbling Halls on it, among other things.
