A Venezuelan doctor with a work permit and pending asylum status was detained at a Texas airport while traveling. As of April 16, 2026, she is in ICE custody at the El Valle Detention Facility in Texas and missed her husband's asylum interview due to the detention.

This has been happening in the Federal Register. Medicaid and Federal Employees and retirees. This administration is building a health database.

While supporters and legislators noted that her release papers were reported signed on Wednesday, April 15, she had not been released from the El Valle Detention Facility in Texas as of Friday, April 17, 2026. I have read that her daughter had been released.

Everything I read suggests Dr. Bolivar and her 5 year old daughter are still detained by DHS.

Seems like our government is full of baloney on this Tylenol thing?
