The journalist does not includes the fact that neither Russia nor Iran has ever threatened Canada with attack. The article doesn't examine the fact that Canadian forces are forward deployed in close proximity to these "aggressor" countries.
This article is absurd because not only does it completely invert the balance of forces in current conflicts (ie. Ukraine being superior to Russia in drone development - which it is not), it leads the reader to believe that air defense systems will be guarding against weapons that can't reach Canada
