Why would we make it easier to get cannabis when tobacco would never now be given legal status? There must be a way but I am not convinced just giving it to people in a "safe"

Ah. With tobacco you may quip, but this is how most cannabis is consumed. Things can be worse if certain types are consumed on their own.

I worked in health education for 20 years. In West Lothian the Cannabis addiction councillor had a full case load and a waiting list. People who couldn't leave the house because of their cannabis habit. I could provide citations, but I am retired, if you really wanted to know, you would look.

I've seen the mental damage caused and reject it's use as a lifestyle choice for more people. That is what legalisation would do. That is why mental health declined in areas where it is promoted legally.

Unfortunately someone dear to me became psychotic as a result of casual cannabis use. The more people who are helped to take it. The sicker our society will become. It is too dangerous to be promoted as a lifestyle choice.
