Yup!
It's unfortunate ML, game AI, and generative AI/LLMs have become conflated these days because ML has a massive number of uses in a variety of fields where some automation is desired.
We anticipate our data will mainly be used in gaming, film, and computer vision applications.

Don't grab any pitchforks or torches!
Protege AI specializes in real world data for researchers and manufacturers who want to build tools that actually function instead of all the stupid LLM and image generator crap, and that's why we partnered with them
Don't worry, this isn't stuff like generative AI, LLMs, etc.
We specifically partnered with them because they got their start in medical data for analysis of things like finding cancer cells and various engineering applications.

We're getting some new followers, soooo:
Hello, we're Render Ready! ๐
Our official stance on AI is that we believe the best use of the technology is in medical and safety fields where it can be fully utilized to help people, not to take away artists' jobs.

A closeup of the right sleeve from the previous post. It's rolled up and the cuff is twisted around in space in a very complex way
I'm going to be replicating this over the next few weeks using Marvelous Designer, then I'll be taking both the scan and the MD mesh to final textured low poly
This cuff right here is already making me sweat

Getting started on a little project for @render-ready.com
We're doing a big sprint right now to acquire more assets, and @xavierck.com is getting this women's trench coat ready for a scan
A women's suit jacket front and back in Zbrush
Doing a bit of 3D scanning today for @render-ready.com
This is raw scan data direct from the scanner with zero cleanup. I literally transferred it from our scanning laptop about five minutes ago. I didn't even have to rotate it.
It's Joe and Xavier at GDC!
Time for GDC day three!
GDC DAY TWO LET'S GET THAT BAG
If you see the Render Ready team walking around, come say hi!

Render Ready doesn't just provide scans of garments โ if you can wear it, we can provide your artists with high resolution reference photos and tech packs with every measurement you'd need to recreate it in anything from Marvelous Designer to real-world materials
A graphic with a black border and text that says "Don't let this happen to you." The main image shows a Metahuman with badly constructed clothes and a bunch of redline notes calling out various issues.
Things can get bad when your artists aren't familiar with garment construction.
That's where Render Ready scans, photos, and tech packs come in.

Graphic showing three sections: High-res photos, high-detail scans, high precision tech packs. Section 1 shows a closeup view of highly detailed fabric and beading. Section 2 shows a high detail 3D scan in Zbrush with lots of folds and wrinkles. Section 3 shows a section of a clothing pattern with exact measurements.
Unparalleled accuracy.
