Totally agree. From the POVs, it looks like they nailed the Epcot edu-tainment vibe perfectly! Really cool.

Wild chickens take over Miami while some embrace roosters as a cultural symbol Flamingos, pelicans, herons and parrots are just a few of the wild birds that call Miami home

Always fun to read about Miami’s feathered wild life. abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory...

How much do you think it costs to make a pair of Nike shoes in Asia?

Before you open this thread, take a guess. Settle on a number and then compare it to what you'll learn in this thread. 🧵

I spy Jurassic Park (maybe the JW ride from Shanghai?), Minions (looks similar to Shanghai), Waterworld, and a hotel at the front. What are the mystery buildings and IP? Wicked? 007?

Have you ridden Curse of the Werewolf? Looks kind of fun!

Donald Trump has committed the most profound, harmful and unnecessary economic error in the modern era. Almost everything he said—on history, economics and the technicalities of trade—was utterly deluded econ.st/3YbbFjq

Dem campaigns selling supporter phone numbers to every left-of-center campaign and initiative is driving me INSANE. WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL. It’s an endless number of text donation requests 🫠

It’s worth noting that the US Attorney could benefit from an AP Stylebook. Maybe then, he’d know where an apostrophe goes.

Opinion | America Has a Rogue President The firing of three judge advocate generals is one more element of this administration’s attack on the rule of law.

“Our country is in uncharted territory. We have an administration that is waging war against the rule of law. The evidence is everywhere… America has a rogue president and a rogue administration, and we need to acknowledge that and respond.” www.nytimes.com/2025/02/24/o...

TBH, bananas are about to get slapped with a 25% tariff from Trump. So they’re about to be kind of expensive.

True story: I once hosted a meeting at ED with Peter Yarrow and @alexdsanchez.bsky.social and he brought his guitar and told us stories and of course advocated for music in schools.

Crazy thing is he was in my dad’s fraternity at Cornell and just a few years below him. They were friends. RIP

Really sad to hear of Jimmy Carter’s passing. A President who really tried every day (whether in office or not) to make life better for people. Through his work to support political prisoners, he made a big impact on my family and our American story. Thankful for him.

President Carter Runs Again

On Monday, May 31, former President Jimmy Carter took an unusual tour of Disneyland-it only took about 15 minutes. The former president had been staying at the Disneyland Hotel and speaking about his memoirs at the American Booksellers' Association convention held in Anaheim.

Wanting to take his customary early-morning jog, President Carter asked to run through Disneyland, since he had never visited the Park, and his busy schedule didn't allow time for a lengthy visit. So, at about 6:15 a.m., Mr. Carter was escorted by Disneyland Security, his Public Relations man and the Secret Service through all of the themed lands of Disneyland.

We hope President Carter liked what he saw here, and will return again soon--for a bit longer!

RIP to Jimmy Carter. His first and possibly only visit to Disneyland was May 31, 1982, when he jogged through it for about 15 minutes, described here in the Disneyland Line of June 10, 1982.

I really like the lobby! All of the different textures and patterns look really interesting and are a nice modern take on the Poly.

When I say that the right is dominating the left on almost all platforms, this is what I mean. I hope Democratic officials take this into account every day. If you want an ecosystem that will advocate for YOU, then YOU need to help build it. Give interviews to creators, break news with creators...

Now you have scrubs like @don-yu.bsky.social and I here. I hope this sticks as the new Twitter, Thread throttled news and political content, which was dumb, dumb, dumb.

I miss it!! At one point I remember it as a combo taco, salad, pasta, and baked potato bar. An Avengers-ensemble of food under the protection of a single sneeze guard.

Trying to escape Twitter (again). Looking for somewhere where I can follow politics, college football (Florida State, y’all), theme park news, and tiki bars. Let’s hope this is better than Threads 🤞🏽
