Moscato is a good wine for people who drink Sprite and think “I wish I could get drunk off this.”

The Inside Story of Five Days That Remade the Supreme Court

Roberts will go down in history as one of the worst but most consequential chief justices. He might get some decisions right, but few have done more to undermine confidence in our system than he.

When your party’s brand is “hey, at least we’re not as bad as Trump,” sexual assault allegations remind us that “not as bad” is still pretty bad.

“Happy Easter, New York!

Today, millions of New Yorkers celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the victory of hope over despair and faith over fear.
As the air warms and cherry blossoms begin to bloom, this holy day is a sacred time to pause and reflect on a season of rebirth.
Whether you spend this day singing in pews, parading on Fifth Avenue, joining a processional guided by the bamboo trumpets of Haitian Rara music, or hunting for painted eggs amidst the spring grass, I wish every New Yorker celebrating a joyous day.

Let us all embrace this holiday's spirit of hope and renewal as we build the City — and the world — that we deserve.”

I never said they should do nothing. But pretending that some kind of bipartisan support for impeachment or invocation of the 25th Amendment is inane. This is exactly the presidency that the majority of the GOP is happy with.

It’s plainly obvious they don’t have the Republican votes to accomplish this. The number of “cowardly” Republicans is small. Most of them are happy to have a president whose leadership style is identical to that of a playground bully.

The fact that you would do this is why you’re not in Trump’s cabinet.

Again, the first Tea Party rallies in April 2009 -- heavily promoted in advance by Fox News -- only had about 300,000 attendees across 750 cities, but the media treated it like the Second American Revolution.

There will be multiple *individual* No Kings rallies today that have more people at them.

Pete Hegseth removed 4 decorated Army officers—2 Black, 2 women—from a promotion list. The Army Secretary refused, calling their records exemplary. Hegseth overrode it. Possibly illegally. They gave decades to this country. He erased them & called it meritocracy.
This is white Christian nationalism.

🤔

Gold has to be a white metal, the whitest of all metals, hugely white. Why else would Trump coat everything in it?

I knew it was satire. Everyone knows Obama started the rumor about inventing gold so Real Patriots would get confused and sell it at a loss so Obama & Soros could buy it up at a discount then hoard it so the US men’s hockey team couldn’t get real gold medals at Olympics. It’s why Charlie got shot.

Yeah right. America will never be second best.

Maybe you can sell it to some other crypto trader for some real gold.

I’m afraid not. Maybe you can get a refund on the gun if you kept the receipt.

“weird, paranoid fantasies that do not align with reality”

That pretty much sums up the conservative movement in general, doesn’t it?

This is also true if, as in our case, the constitution isn’t that well-designed or as well-respected.

I’m guessing it’s Andrew Jackson. Trump absolutely idolizes Jackson, absolutely is talking to his hallucinations and absolutely is certain they too think he’s the greatest president ever.
