"Some socialists wanted to work through government, political parties, and the state to seize power. Other socialists saw this as a corruptible reformist effort. Instead, they argued for building socialism from below through direct action, federations, and expropriation of the means of production."

“They’re not trying to impose dictatorship from a position of strength, they’re trying to impose it from a position of weakness, and fear. So that’s why I said we have to build an alternative, radical force.” offshootjournal.org/ungovernable...

Anarchism or Socialism (A Nonsensical Question) Offshoot Journal presents Anarchism or Socialism (A Nonsensical Question). Though plenty of educational materials address the history recounted in this short zine, it felt necessary to create. Many se...

The "broligarchs" of today are no different from the oligarchs of the Gilded Age: "the top priority is not to gain more money; it is to gain more power and control over society and its future."

This zine is maybe 15 pages and absolutely worth your time:

This @offshootjournal.bsky.social zine comes out of necessity. Take a firm stand against those romanticizing the ruling class of old because they donated some of the wealth they took in blood. It was hoarded by oppressing people throughout this country and the world.

There are no good oligarchs.
