A new species for me spotted off the docks in Tacoma, WA: Micronereis nanaimoensis. This female had a BUNCH of males hooked into her back end to stimulate her to lay eggs😱It was SO cool to see! #wormwednesday
White and brown slug with relatively large tubercles all over its body, a fluffy gill plume, and perky rhinophores. It’s crawling on some barnacles.
