Ever since I answered that really beautiful qotd about teaching Shadowheart how to swim, which is such a special moment in my canon universe's story, I really felt the need to start writing a fanfic for them, or at the very least start writing some snippets!

Then when Shadowheart felt comfortable, she'd try go alone without Jeanne keeping her afloat.
Jeanne stayed with her every step of the way, supporting her and always being next to her. 🤍
