For U.S. medical researchers, shrinking labs and bare budgets are the new reality The Trump administration has slashed the number of grants from the National Institutes of Health, with far fewer focused on women, cancer and mental health.

Very good (if tragic) story from the Washington Post

Absolutely historic vote today where 40 US Senators voted to block the sale of Caterpillar D-9 bulldozers to Israel, citing civilian harm Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

Though the measure was defeated (as expected), the tide is turning. Just last year, this number was 27.

Judge ends asylum claims for Liam Conejo Ramos and his family, orders family's removal The family’s lawyers plan to appeal the judge’s decision to deport the family to Ecuador.

Outrageous.

Stripping Liam Conejo Ramos and his family of asylum is beyond cruel and indefensible.

This decision must be overturned. Shame.
