"be careful what you wish for". The second part of the comic shows Kris and Noelle Holiday both as teens. Kris is still kneeling on the ground, but it's Noelle's hand clasped between their own now. She lies before them, her face obscured, while Kris looks on in horror. The thorn ring adorns one of Noelle's fingers and a trickle of blood falls from their joined hands spreading to cover the floor.
