The “jail the librarians” bill is back and we need everyone to AGAIN call their representatives to get this bill to either on the vine.

Ok guys, this is urgent. The section 230 sundown bill has been introduced by a bipartisan group of senators. If this passes, free speech on the web is basically gone. Spread the word on #Section230
I’ll start with one of the more recent characters I’ve gotten for the #BadCrowd, Pearl!!
A gift design from @zip-toonz.bsky.social (the artist of the first Image), Pearl is a classic star among the Bad Crowd! Sure, past her prime, but fondly remembered and still well off thanks to name recognition
An illustration of the character Seamstress. She has her arms raised at her sides - akin to a shrug - and stares manically at the camera.
DRINK TO ME, MY HEART, MY ELEGANCE
[A gift for @zip-toonz.bsky.social, who also made this character]

Violet's come a long way and she's still developing. Her lore is rather hard to explain with the limited characters. There's more I could get into but I'll cut it short.
If you've read this far thank you, and please check out Jenny LeClue: Detectivu.
Here is where I admit that the idea of a 'cheerleader who likes Jenny' became Violet having a crush on Jenny at some point rather early on.
They are polar opposites really. Violet knows how Jenny is and finds her charming anyway. Bless her heart.
When it came to picking colors red wasn't the initial choice. She was nearly purple but I felt that was too literal given her name and it didn't stand out against her hair.
I decided to do red so that her colors mirrored Jenny. With warm tones for her clothes and cool tones for her hair.
I knew I wanted her to be awkward. Veronica and Peggy exist so I made her reserved and shy. Someone Jenny likely wouldn't notice amongst her more vocal peers.
From there she evolved into what she is now bit by bit.
I did draw a 'reverse' Violet however...She haunts me.
Now for design and concept talk!
Violet was thought up about halfway into my playthrough of the game.
The idea of 'A cheerleader who likes Jenny' was the only thought I had initially when going in. I struggled with her hair and name but knew I wanted the poodle skirt.
For more convoluted lore.
Somewhere in her development Violet evolved into being the protagonist of a 'Spin Off' novel for the in universe Jenny LeClue series. She has her own author. Darren Paige Winchester.
Where Jenny is a Detective she's a Paranormal Investigator.
As for her family,
Her mother (Sarah Rose) is a doctor, her side of the family (The Gardeners) are traditionally farmers.
Her father (Charlie) is a veterinarian, his side of the family (The Fischers) are traditionally fisherman and sailors.
Violet's learned a lot from both sides of her family.
Violet has a hodge-podge of hobbies spurred on by her family. She loves swimming, making fishing flies and lures, playing banjo, writing poetry, and antiquing.
She's rather strong for her age. Routinely doing farm chores since she was little on top of cheer and swimming.
Violet loves the supernatural. Local folklore, cryptids, and ghost stories fascinate her, something her grandparents encouraged when she was younger.
While she won't admit it out loud, Violet can see the spiritual side of Arthurton.
Violet is close in age to the main trio. She's a cheerleader despite the fact she's quite the wall flower who tends to avoids conflict.
She really admires Jenny for her ability to speak her mind. But lacks the guts to talk to her.
Funnily enough she isn't scared of the paranormal.
