After sitting on this, my take on the best setup: remote work, with 2x year onsites. Get everyone in a room together to discuss long term goals and build relationships, things that are difficult to do digitally. Then let people go wherever they work best and let them get it done.
Originally the default wallpaper of Microsoft's Windows XP, this photo shows green rolling hills with a vibrant blue sky and white clouds in the background. Charles O'Rear took the photo in California, USA.
We've always been a fan of blueskies.

TIL the BlueSky app is built with expo.dev.
It's ironic how little true observability is available to most mobile devs when apps they build so badly need it.
Fickle users? Unpredictable hardware and system resource availability? Chaotic runtime environment?
Good luck knowing what's really going on in prod without context-enriched telemetry!

Haze 1.0 💠 has been released!
This is a big release, not only because of the version number, but also because of the amount of changes since the latest stable release.

Building a Kotlin Multiplatform starter pack. Still working through followers and finding other folks on the platform. Lots of people joined recently, so I'm definitely missing accounts. Ping me with suggestions! go.bsky.app/2oR84o6

That's good wisdom. If you have a problem and you build a product that solves it, make sure you love the product, and it solves your problem the way you like it. You can build upon it and tweak it later if it reaches a wider audience.
Made an #AndroidDev Starter Pack!
Please let me know if I missed anyone so I can connect with them as well 😁

the one cool part about this is that self-hosters had the site to themselves for about 20 minutes.
starter packs are the best social media feature since the timeline
Would you look at that. GitHub has added support for Bluesky handles on your GitHub profile.
