Yanka Rupkina of the Bulgarian Womens Choir passed away today. Known as the "Voice of Strandzha" and a "nightingale," she was a key soloist for the Women's Choir of Bulgarian Radio (Mystère des Voix Bulgares) and a member of the legendary Trio Bulgarka.She was 87.
