First in a series of Mettatenna sketches. It’s Mettaton dressed up for an At Home Spa Day, with a TV antennae-like hair and keeping his hair out of his face and exposing the plus sign for his right eye. He’s sat crosslegged on the floor surrounded by cans of WD-41, compressed air, and nail polish. He’s patting the ground beside him and is wearing fuzzy slippers. He’s also wearing a crop top tank top with ICE-E in sunglasses on it that says ‘ナイスう　サァーマ’ (Nise Sum-Mr) on it. He looks a little tired and annoyed he’s been dealing with Tenna tiptoeing around being sad about his ex for a While Mettaton: DARLING. Mettaton: I LITERALLY *LOVE* DRAMA. Mettaton: COME SIT DOWN AND TELL ME ABOUT YOUR NASTY DIVORCE

Tenna’s laying on the floor, head in Mettaton’s lap. He’s got a big fluffy robe and slippers on and the ends of his gloves have been painted like fingernails. Mettaton has both his antennae in one hand and is pulling them into a hair scrunchy like his. He looks worried, Mettaton looks unbothered. Tenna: …YOU SURE IT’S NOT (in underlined thin Cursive-ish writing) DEPRESSING? Mettaton: OHH NOOO I GET TO HEAR ABOUT HOW MUCH BETTER I AM THAN SOMEONE ELSE. Mettaton: STOP. Mettaton: DON’T. Mettaton: PLEASE. Mettaton: KYAA.

Mettaton, uneasy, imagines a beautiful him with a long, Tenna esque nose. His hand is curled over his mouth at the thought. The long nosed him is surrounded by roses and glitter. Frightened, he holds his own face in another drawing beside it, fist clenched resolutely, as the fantasy vanishes with a pop Mettaton: NO NO NO Mettaton: I’M PERFECT ALREADY Mettaton: GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF

In one doodle, Mettaton EX lays on a grand piano in a spotlight (and a slinky dress), hand draped over his forehead, signing what’s clearly a torch song. Tenna, smiling a little, is hunched over so tight his knees are pressed against his chest, sat at the bench, playing. In a doodle below it, Tenna tap dances in his Dr. Tennaville outfit, in the spotlight, holding a hat and cane in the air. Just barely in the spotlight, Mettaton watches in box form, hat on his head, both hands leaned on his cane. Besides this is a drawing of Tenna carrying Box Form Mettaton in his arms, TV set presses atop of Mettaton’s body, both gazing off curiously at something. One of Mettaton’s arms hangs down, the other curled to hold onto Tenna’s arm wrapped around his body. Like any responsible cat owner, Tenna holds a hand below to support Mettaton’s wheel.
