People are naturally afraid of technological advances, and there are some skill sets that will eventually be replaced by AI. Me personally, I'm waiting for the arrival of the Vulcans in 2063! I already have the wine to celebrate. 😃

I'm waiting to see this applied within the writing community, especially with editors and traditional publishing companies.

I'm not using AI to write. I find this evolving situation interesting. Remember when people thought microwave ovens would give you cancer? Now, everyone has one or more.

In the business world, companies and their recruiters are complaining about disabled applicants using AI to write their resumes. They are going to be sad faced when a disabled applicant files an ADA complaint and then sues.

Regarding the AI use, I just recently learned that AI use is covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Under the ADA persons or organizations that discriminate against or publicly shame an individual for using AI as an accommodation can be fined federally and sued by the victim.

The Self-Appointed Police of the Author World On self-appointed gatekeepers, mob mentality, and the author world's obsession with policing other people's choices.
