A bipartisan voting bill in the Wisconsin legislature would’ve allowed early votes to be processed starting on the Monday before Election Day, helping get results to voters as early as possible, but Republicans blocked it.
We must vote them out this November.

Now, it’s Virginians’ turn.
If the measure passes, it could help Democrats pick up an additional four seats in the U.S. House this November.
If the measure fails, the GOP will be in a stronger position to hold onto their majority in the chamber.
Last November, Californians passed their legislature’s Prop 50 ballot measure, approving new maps that could help Democrats gain up to 5 seats in the U.S. House. This effectively canceled out the five new seats Texas Republicans gerrymandered for themselves last year.
This move came in response to the GOP’s gerrymandering power grab that Republican states have pursued at Trump’s order as part of their desperate attempt to hold onto power in Congress.
These efforts haven’t gone unmatched by state Democrats.
This session, Virginia’s Democratic trifecta passed a measure to put a constitutional amendment before voters that would allow them to pursue mid-decade redistricting.
Virginians have already begun casting their votes on the commonwealth’s redistricting referendum ahead of its April 21 special election.
