Reporting takes energy and time. Why should it be our responsibility to sort out, it needs proper regulation. Of course cars are despicable but the hire bikes are a problem too

Hi fellow Moultoneer. I understand you want to defend hire bikes and I agree they are a fabulous resource. However I have a disabled friend and we live in an area with heavy hire bike usage. Having to maneuver around these obstacles is very debilitating for her.

"It's easy to move a bike." They might be for you but those things weigh a ton. If you're old and or disabled they are a real problem. I say this as a committed cyclist. All pavement parking is a blight
