Yeah the mechanics aren't well signposted and they're unlike in any other fight in the game. Should have signposts for the LB3 like they do in some other fights for tank LB3s, and not fill the meter until the rift phase

The angriest I've ever been in roulette was at a DPS who popped LB3 before the Chrysalis rift phase TWICE MORE after I'd said to save it the first time he did it, so we had to run almost the whole fight four times 🙃 It's my #1 candidate for a fight that needs a rework

Was an incredible show! Crowd had great energy too

The "free public transport is bad actually" crowd are some of the most annoying people on social media but please, prioritise making public transport *better*

I lived in Melbourne for 11 years and every time I go back to down I'm reminded how much the mundane shittiness of Victoria's public transport system made me angry on a daily basis. You don't even know how bad you've got it!!

...which turns out to be the V/Line website, but that says you can't book because PT in Victoria is free for a month, except I can see from the booking process that my service is almost full because clearly people *could* book it until yesterday. So who knows if I will be able to get on the train.

...then I end up on the Transport Victoria website, where I have to download a PDF to figure out whether my fare from Geelong to Birregurra is part of Myki. It's not, so I use their "journey planner" to try and get a ticket, but the planner doesn't link to wherever I'm meant to get a ticket...

One of the worst things about going to Victoria is having to deal with Victorian public transport. Have to get from Avalon airport to my brother's place near Birregurra. There's no direct public transport from Avalon to Geelong (!!!!!!!) so it's a bus and then a train...

Oh interesting! The reason I enjoy healing (sometimes) is that I can't switch off like I can with the other roles. Not because it's easier but because I have to actually pay attention to the rest of the party. But I also don't play much high end content at all so 🤷‍♂️

I heard one youtuber say something similar, but more like, phys ranged players should take on more responsibly for calling mechanics in high level content because their mobility is higher. Which seems fair I guess

Ah yep. Definitely no issue with bumping damage up for the role. I don't play enough high level content to notice much difference in damage numbers

I'd be ok with more damage! I feel the opposite though, no reason to use GCD healing in low level content :) (except on WHM). Agree that damage rotations could be a bit more complex, or we need "buff rotations", something like what AST had before the most recent rework

I thought dance partner also affected esprit generation but I guess not! For me the main thing is that jobs feel good, DPS is easily adjusted. I'm not sure I think ranged phys needs a specific role identity beyond being a ranged attacker w/out cast times (which basically includes SMN at this point)

Ranged phys is my fave! It's the only role where I love playing every job. It could maybe use more utility, but too much starts to break the tank/dps/healer triad.

I actually think healers have evolved smartly over the last few xpacs, forcing more healing by massively increasing unavoidable damage

Tank is such a weird role, it's simultaneously (imo) the most boring the play and the easiest to piss people off while playing.

The role needs a re-think I reckon. It's drifted towards DPS-lite over the years, but I think it'd be more fun to make mitigation feel more active, e.g. TBN on DRK.

Outer Wilds is rad!! I found it a bit frustrating in parts but really glad I finished it
