He was the 2nd WR in 12P

First day of Steelers camp quick hits:
- Jalen Ramsey at safety, nickel, and outside CB at different points
- Roman Wilson — first stringer
- Great first day for Derrick Harmon
- Schematic changes coming to Steelers defense (disguised, new blitz looks)
In 2023, Calvin Anderson nearly died from a battle with malaria. When he returned to the field, he suffered a heart contusion on a routine play.
How Anderson turned that experience and 'dark times' into his motivation to change lives.

I’d be surprised if they fell out so badly they wouldn’t have to do that. Even if they went 6-11 they would likely need to move up
2019 DEN will be used as evidence to the contrary, but a few things:
1. DEN started those talks. Wanted to move back. Depressed the price.
2. It wasn’t for a QB. It’s almost always more expensive to move up for a QB.
3. LOT of QB needy teams / competitor to beat…..
I’m not sure if people realize this yet but if the Steelers move up in any significant way in next year’s draft like many expect they will be trading their 2027 1st in all likelihood.
A few quick-hit takeaways from camp in shorts!
- Yahya Black and Derrick Harmon are big, big guys
- Black has some real power behind his punches
- UDFA Roc Taylor -- that's a big WR. X-only based on frame IMO
- Kaleb Johnson's movement is smooth. Cuts and such look so easy
My top takeaway from the owners meetings discussions with Mike Tomlin is that the it sounds like Steelers feel pretty good about their chances to land Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers
Locked on #Steelers Wednesday w/@nickfarabaugh.bsky.social!
- What Cam Heyward really said on Aaron Rodgers
- Does he reflect how team really sees situation?
- Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart, 2025 Draft QBs
- DBs to communicate better?

Day 7 of Aaron Rodgers watch
They’re def not tanking. And they’re not going all in. They’re doing this damn middle ground thing they’ve done for years
If the Steelers make an impact IDL and CB signing (we’ll see about Slay, if that happens, I have my concerns), I can see this flipping quickly.
But right now? Not sure. 2025 has massive ‘bridge year’ energy from a team with an aging defensive core.
So far, I’m quite confused by much of the Steelers offseason. It feels somewhat directionless.
Loading up on comp picks for 2026 is the optimistic take on ‘they have a plan’.
Right now, a lot of questions though
Another move for the Steelers.
They’ve released Larry Ogunjobi, sources confirm
Cam Heyward’s $14.5 million per year is an absolute steal atm for the Steelers.
Age is the biggest factor with that so I get it, but with the way he played last year…yeah.
Holy smokes. Williams is a good player but $26M a year is insane.
Third highest paid DT in the NFL
I’m gonna need to use #thatsite regardless but I’m definitely enjoying it over here. I should stay for good.
Twitter is down again. Is that like the fifth time today? Wild.
DJ Reed and DJ Reader on the same team is some good stuff.
Only thing that will top it is if Maryland DT Jordan Phillips goes to Buffalo to join the other Jordan Phillips in the NFL Draft.
Some cornerbacks coming off the market early for the Steelers.
Carlton Davis and Paulson Adebo heading elsewhere.
Luckily for them, that’s not even the tip of the iceberg in this class.
Dan Moore is a great dude. Huge deal for him. Even with how active the Steelers might be in FA this year, that could net them a compensatory pick.
LOL. That’s insane.
Javon Kinlaw is making more than Cam Heyward
Jaylen Moore got $15 million.
Dan Moore is counting his dollars to the bank.
Rapoport is breaking news on Facebook right now, man. It’s 2010 again lol
Twitter is down on one of the biggest days of the year in the NFL. Bluesky…
Anybody’s best guess atm. My tentative guess is still fields but let’s see
Jaylen Warren is back for the Steelers. Likely to be their lead back. And he deserves it. Very solid player who the team found as a UDFA.
