Today is one month since my surgery - honestly feels like it’s been 6 months

I was able to sit in my car and drive it for a few minutes this morning. Very slowly getting back

I woke up to one of my friends knocking on my door and we hung out for most of the day. Really needed that. ❤️‍🩹 The isolation, uncomfyness, and monotony of this recovery has been taking a toll.

Wasn’t expecting this! Today is my birthday. 😊 Feels like another covid bday being stuck at home and on bedrest. I can’t wait to be able to sit and leave my apartment again. The last few weeks have hit me hard physically & emotionally, but I’m feeling better. 😌 Gf is visiting today, can’t wait! 🥰

I made it home from my follow up! No random scary emergency surgery episode this time. Doctor said I was I healing well 😊

Ive been kept an extra week on the catheter post second/emergency surgery. Her persistence to lay in the worst possible area right now makes me think she knows what she’s doing and she’s happy with herself. 😭
