Update on Clearfield After careful analysis, Commonwealth University will cease operations at the Clearfield teaching location following the end of the 2026-27 academic year.

I always wish Clearfield was represented more during the integration, since their students were feeling the most left out of the whole process. Proud of the University for being as transparent, open, and honest with the students/community as they can be.

Commonwealth University to close Clearfield campus Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania is shutting down its campus in Clearfield, citing declining enrollment and financial challenges, officials announced in a statement Tuesday.

Commonwealth University-Clearfield will be ceasing operations at the teaching location following the conclusion of the May 2027 school year.
