Still reasonable (I suppose), but yeah, yeesh. A new experience for me upon moving to this city: one company for water, another for sewer, a third for storm water. But at the end of the day, my tap water flows clean and my wastewater disappears, so the system seems convoluted but works!

I’m a huge fan of infrastructure and of paying the people who work hard to keep it running, but the 50% rate hike on the annual bill was a surprise.
