🚌Transportation is another barrier- public schools are required to provide transportation, private schools aren’t.
💵Many private schools cost more than the voucher, leaving families to pay the rest, often upfront. Average tuition for a secondary private school is more than 16K.
School choice is just another way to expand the divide between the haves & the have nots.

Please tell me how eliminating teaching positions- especially Special Ed and READING- is going to help our education system? I’m hearing it’s already happening at my former school district next year. The way to improve the quality of education in this country is to make classes SMALLER not bigger!
If your child has an IEP, don’t wait to request updated evals! With everything happening in education, now is the time to act.
✅ Any evals older than 3 years
✅ Significant changes in child’s needs
✅ Struggles at school that aren’t reflected in the current IEP
Make the request in writing today!
