Anaconda was another huge bucket list ride for me, and it didn’t disappoint. For a 26-year-old inverted coaster, it’s remarkably smooth and still really forceful in the back seat.

Without doubt, Tower of Terror at Gold Reef City is one of the most terrifying, intense, and insane rides I’ve ever done out of the 1500+ coasters I’ve ridden around the world. And I love it to bits. #goldreefcity #towerofterror #rollercoaster

Some big bucket list stuff getting ticked off 1 from a week today. Flying to Johannesburg on the A380, finally getting the Gold Reef City creds (fingers crossed), and doing a Safari.

Off to Cologne for a long weekend in 48 hours. That 20 degree temperature swing will be appreciated come Sunday!

Fingers crossed of course, but in 2 months I’ll have a few bucket list coasters ticked off from my South Africa trip.

I’ve only done about four new coasters this year, so by default, here we go.

So now that Kingda Ka is being retired, what are the odds that the currently SBNO Formula Rossa gets retired/redone in the not too distant future? Doesn’t appear good on this form for the only other insane hydraulic launching Intamin coaster.

Coaster at PNE Vancouver. To be fair, it does do quite well in a lot of polls, but I don’t think a lot of people realise how wild this ride is. Was even crazier before they added seatbelts. There’s about a foot gap between people and the restraints.
