Have spent my life split between the Okanagan and Calgary. More Okanagan now, less Calgary as much as I can.

Back then was same as now, most people want time change to stop. In 2021 I believe the bulk of the No votes were for those that didn’t want DST (vs standard time). A better referendum question would have been which would you like us to stop at? DST or Standard Time.
Can confirm…
Hope they find them okay…
It seems to me like Bluesky is really taking off recently. It’s having a growth spurt I think.
I’m going to post a lot more original content here now.

Fiery?! Unhinged is more like it!
The whole post: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin' Strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J.
TRUMP”
You forgot to add how he downplayed the fight in Afghanistan saying NATO didn’t help, then said they stayed back from the fighting and ultimately discounted all the soldiers from other countries that were killed. But ya sure we’ll get right on helping you again. What an idiot.
Utilities are convincing lawmakers around the U.S. to delay bills that would allow people to buy solar panels, plug them into an outlet and begin generating electricity. n.pr/4ul3y2p
tRumps running over Venezuela for oil is making more sense. He’s getting more oil money sent to his off shore accounts while he burns down Middle East oil streams.
In Mexico now. You certainly can’t tell people cancelled.
It is time for an election, these issues are way too big for Smith to even handle. #ableg

“…police in Canada are most concerned about firearms that aren’t owned by licensed Canadian gun owners, usually guns that come over the US border illegally.” That would be why gun owners aren’t interested in more restrictions. It’s not legally owned guns used in the majority of criminal offenses.
Trump and team are bragging about being inferior. 🤣
The Dow was at 43,488 when Trump took office. It just hit 50,000.
So if you had invested $43,488 in the US, you would now have $50,000. But if you had invested the same amount in the rest of the world, you would now be worth $60,000.

This further supports my thought - If the U.S. got around to invading Canada, or just continues further down the path of fascism, the U.S. will break up. Canada might be looking pretty good to those northern/western states! Trade you Alberta!
I like that the same day a guy was like “this place will never be Twitter” this thread gave us the most 2015 Twitter experience (complimentary) imaginable.
A political map of Canada showing the country's 10 provinces and 3 territories, each filled with a distinct solid color for differentiation. From west to east: - British Columbia (dark teal green) with capital Victoria marked. - Alberta (light green) with capital Edmonton. - Saskatchewan (brighter light green) with capital Regina. - Manitoba (yellow) with capital Winnipeg. - Ontario (bright yellow) with capital Toronto and national capital Ottawa marked with a star. - Quebec (orange-brown) with capital Quebec City. - New Brunswick (light orange) with capital Fredericton. - Nova Scotia (light pink) with capital Halifax. - Prince Edward Island (pink) with capital Charlottetown. - Newfoundland and Labrador (light orange-brown) with capital St. John's. Territories in the north: - Yukon (gray) with capital Whitehorse. - Northwest Territories (darker gray) with capital Yellowknife. - Nunavut (light blue) with capital Iqaluit.
The names of Canada's provinces and territories come from many sources.
Some names come from Indigenous words, while others are named for royalty, and some are named for where settlers came from.
This is how each province and territory was named!
