This is a cliff on comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko.

It's about 1 km tall.

If you jumped from the top, it would take you 47 minutes to reach the bottom, and you'd probably be OK.

That's us. That's home.

ESTEC’s LEAF was built to test whether instruments and spacecraft can withstand the sustained sounds of a launch. Our ovomorph held up pretty well at the Open Day, too.
We hope you have an eggsellent holiday! 🖖🤘❄️ #ovomorph #xenomorph #alien #lv426 #alienearth @esa.int

Music and sound didn’t just play an integral role in the making of our new film. Spend any time reading the lyrics to Navigate the Seas of the Sun by Bruce Dickinson and you’ll see why we thought it was a perfect choice.

Sound and music played a huge role in the making of Seas Of The Sun, with Karlotta Skagfield's beautiful original score at its heart, accompanied by a wonderful contribution from cello supremo Jo Quail. Watch (and hear) it now: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Go_r...

Taking a moment to remember a very special Earthling -- Laika, the first creature to orbit the Earth, on the 68th anniversary of her voyage aboard Sputnik 2. By all accounts, she was a very good girl.
