The faces blend so perfectly with the wood! I like how you use different patterns of lines (or dithering? IDK haha) to represent different texture of each element. Detail maximum yet still readable

Pixel art vertical piece. At the bottom, a human hand reach for a door knob. In the reflection of the knob, the hand appears otherwordly. a bit higher, behind the window on the door, two men are walking toward the door, armed with torches, dressed like witch hunters. And a bit higher, the wooden part of the door is ornated with a magical charm, the shape of a human face, directly carved into wood. It tries to look through the window, worried. on the horizon, a city is in flames, touched by three huge beams descending from the sky.
