I feel like if you don't use TikTok trends, random GIF's or TV show GIF's, jokes or basically have AAA quality graphics... your content is ignored by the algorithm.

Its intentional nowadays for platforms to only promote "engaging" content.

I'd like to say similar games aren't the same, but they are lol

You need to find balance between engagement and story, otherwise its just a "simulator" and not technically a "game"

I mean the first part of hellblade 2 was a 5 minute climb up the side of a hill, was extremely boring and excruciatingly slow.

After, its walk walk walk, no interactions or anything, only really picks up near end of game.

It looks nice, plays nice and has a cool story, but God it was so slow.

Mm I cannot agree, walking Sims tend to be a bit boring, there are plenty of relaxing games that still provide player engagement.

But Walking Sim is just way too slow, basically turns a "game" into an enviro showcase.

Hellblade, while not a full walk sim, suffers from this at times...

I think this is a big reason why we see so many "indie devs" turn into "teachers" because of a few things.

They aren't actually game devs, devs make games ๐Ÿ˜›
and they believe one successful game, makes them an expert.

I hear you, I find words to be lacking in this case, its one of those "you don't know unless you know" kind of deals.

Where daily indie dev is hard to express to those with lack of game dev experience.

Blueprints are basically blocks or nodes you can connect together to create game logic.

Its what a lot of people use these days to get into coding or game dev ๐Ÿ™‚

The Role: Designing the gameplay, systems, mechanics, maps, and levels for our studio's videogames.
