UH ANYWAY here's my review for it. Probably gonna be the last time I talk about this for a while so read through the thread if you care enough about this four eyed mfer's opinion LOL bsky.app/profile/saru...

Anyways I'm just happy to see her. Even though she has little screen time, but I'm happy that she's still Rosalina. Doesn't affect about how I feel about her and the movie at all

Could she have done more in the movie? Yeah totally. Kinda sad she was underused, but that's just the direction they chose and it isn't really a bad one imo. It could have been way worse

Now before I get those "Then you really didn't care about Rosalina's storybook then." That's just not true. I am bummed that it wasn't in the movie, but what was given didn't change Rosalina as a character. She's still her and I appreciate that about the movie

I've avoided the internet for a couple of days and just now I'm seeing all the outrage about the movie and Rosalina. I get it tho. It's passion. But it helps to be open minded when it comes to adaptations. I'm sure Marvel fans have to do that a lot when a new MCU movie drops LOL

ALSO I apologize if this review was kinda all over the place. I'm not good at structuring or writing them LMAO I'm just typing my thoughts as I go. Definitely watch the movie and see what you think of it! It's definitely worth it, I promise

I give it like a 7.8/10! May change after more viewings. But that's what I think rn! Definitely doesn't affect how I feel about Rosalina and the original game. Those will always be there. So yeah! There ya go! I will watch it again soon to see if my opinion changes or not.

I hope...but just like any game adaptation, it's never gonna be the same. Be open minded and enjoy the movie! Though personally, I would've liked it more if it was Super Mario Bros 2 instead of Galaxy LOL

Overall, I HAD FUN AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS. It's a different adaptation to the games, so I'm not upset about my wife's changes. I actually kinda like it and I think it's creative. Though, what's in the movie will not affect the games...

FOX MCCLOUD THO!! He's got so much swag that it's crazy LOL. I didn't think my folks would know who he was, but I was surprised that they did. Fox was fun to watch!! He's definitely getting a new game or something soon...

But all that aside, I did have a great time watching the movie! It was really fun, especially with my family with me. At times it did feel a bit bloated with references and stuff, but it didn't bother me that much. I enjoyed seeing them...

than the damsel in distress. But it doesn't really ruin the movie for me. I'm still happy she's included and that she's still the caring, warm, and gentle character she's always been. Her character is still there, but her story is different...

character, and not the one in the original game. As for what she does in the story, she's not shown much. But idk I still feel her importance to the story even though she's barely in it. It's kinda the same as the game, but I feel like I like her better as a guide...

So the changes to her character doesn't really bother me that much. I mean she's still her, but with a massive new twist. Not all adaptations are the same so it's not that big of a deal. I'm just kinda disappointed that it's gonna be a lot of people's first introduction of her...
