Yeah, Dogfight. We had that one - had a lot of fun playing my brother at it.

I used to have an RX8, and if I could get an electric one, I'd be all over that!! Dunno if that counts as classic yet.

I can, and do, speak to my boss. If I need to speak to his boss, that's fine - I 100% can, and have. If I need to speak to *his* boss that's fine too, and I have there as well. And he's the *big* boss.

If you try to tell me it's okay to speak to a chatbot, you can go and choke. It's dehumanising.

When Angela Rayner underpaid £40,000 in stamp duty, Richard Tice said it was "morally completely indefensible” and she should resign if she had “any moral decency”.

Now we learn he set up four shell companies that let him avoid paying £100,000 he owed in tax and to then transfer the cash to Reform

I understand that Chivas Brothers are trying to set the gold standard for their control and comms systems. So they'll be well aware of the hilarity of only being able to get Starlink, and having that drop for 2 minutes in every day...

But yeah - the smell and taste is everywhere around these sites.

Ah - says Cambridge in your bio. I have to make networking happen for whisky distilleries, and it's better than it used to be, but there are a lot of places where comms will cost a packet or simply be shit. 🤷‍♂️

My Thrustmaster was rescued by a 3D-printed replacement gimbal.

We really do live in the future!

Says Andrew in Cambridge, who doesn't have to deal with trying to get decent Internet comms on, say, Arran...

And then your microwave link drops because of naval exercises.

Not saying it's impossible, but it can be expensive and unreliable.

Although, to be fair, that was a hell of a lot of ice!!

Drink whisky however you enjoy it. Some benefits from a little ice, some from water, some from being chilled.

It all ends up with water being added between the stills and the cask, anyway. And usually again between the cask and the bottle.

@darkbluemonkey.bsky.social and I were talking about that just on Thursday. I remember it being very fast and smooth, and gouraud shaded. But I don't recall much substance other than chasing down a groove like a record stylus...

Wings are heavy. And they're useless all the time you're in space. I remember reading it cost $25000 per kilo to reach orbit on a space shuttle, and about $11000 on an Ariane rocket.

I think SpaceX was claiming $5000, but they'd totally get it down to $2000, trust me bro.

Still love a Shuttle!

Tron 2.0 was brilliant.

Annoyingly, I've only managed to finish with v10 once.

I've read that wrongly, so I take back the half of all people. Still really warm. I'd be getting told to put on a jumper!

True, but that's >50% keeping their heating at 25°C or higher. That's wild to me!

Last summer our office was over 25°C and there were complaints. I couldn't concentrate, and decamped to the server room for extended periods.

Snap, but dropping to 16 overnight and 20 during the day. During the summer months it doesn't bother starting up.

Yeah, it's not perfect, but all the eggs in a box will be from the same farm.

An egg showing the code 1UK915 SCO.

An egg showing the code 1UK915 SCO.

They use similar devices to print on eggs. In the UK, every egg sold in the shops carries a code showing the farm it came from.

Had a discussion earlier, where I knew things had gone off the rails when confronted with the statement "it's the Jews."

I left.

A couple of hours later, the police have arrived there.

Wow.

Heard Pro-Gen on John Peel around 1990, and it was amazing! Still have my vinyl copy here. Tragic what happened to Will Sinnott.
