The party of free markets, of Reagan, the intellectual heirs of Milton Friedman, the champions of market forces over big government, and of free enterprise and small business over the jackboots of government intervention.

Donald J. Trump @realDonald Trump I have always been a big fan of Tim Cook, and likewise, Steve Jobs, but if Steve was not taken from the Planet Earth so young, and ran the company instead of Tim, the company would have done well, but nowhere near as well as it has under Tim. For me it began with a phone call from Tim at the beginning of my First Term. He had a fairly large problem that only I, as President, could fix. Most people would have paid millions of dollars to a consultant, who I probably would not have known, but who would say that he knew me well.
The fees would be paid but the job would not have gotten done. When I got the call I said, wow, it's Tim Apple (Cook!) calling, how big is that? I was very impressed with myself to have the head of Apple calling to "kiss my ass." Anyway, he explained his problem, a tough one it was, I felt he was right and got it taken care of, quickly and effectively. That was the beginning of a long and very nice relationship. During my five years as President, Tim would call me, but never too much, and I would help him where I could. Years latter, after 3 or 4 BIG HELPS, I started to say to people, anyone who would listen, that this guy is an amazing manager and leader. He makes these calls to me,
Thelp him out (but not always, because he will, on occasion, be too aggressive in his ask!), and he gets the job done, QUICKLY, without a dime being given to those very expensive (millions of dollars!) consultants around town who sometimes get it done, and sometimes don't. Anyway, Tim Cook had an AMAZING career, almost incomparable, and will go on and continue to do great work for Apple, and whatever else he chooses to work on. Quite simply, Tim Cook is an incredible guy!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP 235 ReTruths 1.07k Li... 4/21/26, 5:42 AM
Trump on Tim Cook:
“I was very impressed with myself to have the head of Apple calling to ‘kiss my ass.’”
Això amb Steve Jobs no passava.
Turbo-nepotisme de tornada.
Com ho han sabut?

Sí, ara els penjo, que algú o altre ja m'ho ha demanat.
In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.
The things people will do to get our attention.

Tweet by Juan Mateos Garcia (@JMateosGarcia): Karl Popper on machine learning and induction, 1963 (from Conjectures and Refutations) To sum up this logical criticism of Hume's psychology of induction we may consider the idea of building an induction machine. Placed in a simplified 'world' (for example, one of sequences of coloured counters) such a machine may through repetition 'learn', or even 'formulate', laws of succession which hold in its 'world'. If such a machine can be constructed (and I have no doubt that it can) then, it might be argued, my theory must be wrong; for if a machine is capable of performing inductions on the basis of repetition, there can be no logical reasons preventing us from doing the same. The argument sounds convincing, but it is mistaken. In constructing an induction machine we, the architects of the machine, must decide d priori what constitutes its 'world'; what things are to be taken as similar or equal; and what kind of 'laws' we wish the machine to be able to "discover' in its world'. In other words we must build into the machine a framework determining what is relevant or interesting in its world: the machine will have its 'inborn' selection principles. The problems of similarity will have been solved for it by its makers who thus have interpreted the 'world' for the machine.

GPS is great but I kinda miss this a bit. The most I did must be 2500km on printed maps while moving countries. I remember getting lost over France, fun times. In a way.

"I'd like to snack on some blueberries on the way to the car wash. Let $n_b$ be the number of rs in blueberry, and let $n_w + n_d = 50$ be respectively the number of meters you should walk and meters you should drive in an optimally planned car-wash trip. What is $n_w/n_b$?" "[Personalization in progress]"
