You kids.... no one could actually like that music. I mean, "music."

Not.

The Masters banning of cell phones is so sane. I wonder whether others will take a lesson on this.

March 2026 to 'change everything': 'Tipping point' for global EV adoption Accelerated collapse of ICE cars seen, as oil crisis drives 'replacement under pressure'

EVs are winning. They're obviously going to win. The US is punching itself in the dick by clinging to ICE vehicles.

Now in 2026 CC feels a lot more like something 'now'. NB that I now live in Jackson, WY, and we have had the weirdest winter and an amazing March. Spring is 5 weeks early.

My PhD in Philosophy is from PSU 1988; my MS in paleoclim from INSTAAR was in 1996. After that: 8 years for USGS as a consultant on policy.

Looking back to my time at INSTAAR, I'm struck by the weird timeline: a lot of the work was framed in terms of the yr 2100, when we all would be dead.

Good morning, have you written (or do you know of a good cite) a speculative piece where with all the caveats you give your best guess about how big a problem CC will be in 2035 or 2040?

there is nothing intrinsically good about science. Science that leads to bad ends is bad science. 'Guns don't kill people...' ? We don't see a lot of drive by knifings.

It's moments like the one we are in when I have to say: liberals were right. We were always right. Yet we will never get credit for being right, because being right is not valued in America.

HRC was right. They called her a bitch.

I'd like to know about this pic. Where were they? Is Cagney in a wheelchair? What's in the pictures on the wall?
