Last night it seemed to be getting rather cold in the house, & the mini-splits didn't seem to be doing much. Then it struck me that I last cleaned their filters on Oct 8. Took care of that and what a difference! It's going down to about 18° (F) at night now. We got very spoiled with the mild fall!

I just got my "Dear Estimable Literary Personage" letter from Readercon 34, inviting me to be on program. And Readercon has moved back to Burlington. Commuting down to Quincy was a serious trek, even without huge accident detours in the wrong direction, but Burlington is much easier. I'm thinking...
